What defines skateboarding? What defines a skateboarder? Is it the board you ride? The clothes you
wear? Gone are the days where the typical skater was either "grunge" or "punk rock". Skateboarding
has been taken to a level no one ever dreamed of 15 years ago - money, style, trick, and exposure -
way beyond past expectations. You still have the typical skater, ie. rockin their favorite brands head
to toe. But now in the mix are blinged out skaters, fitted-jersey wearing nike skaters, preppy skaters
heavy metal mullet skaters, tatted up alternative skaters, and of course you still got the punk rock
skaters. No matter what your style is, it's about individuality, just like skateboarding.

Defyn skateboards was based on that idea of individuality. We don't "brand" ourselves into one image
category as nothing is ever just black and white. The only "brand" that we represent is skateboarders
for skateboarders.

And as for the elephant logo...Elephant's are fearless, charge ahead, no matter what obstacle they're
faced with. Props go out to anyone who is out there making things happen. Do what you love and it'll
fall into place.

_DECKS_
Our decks are made in Canada with 100% Canadian Hardrock Maple wood. A special waterproof glue
that's only legal in Canada is used for extra strength. Decks are pressed five at a time (industry
standard is 7 at a time). Try it for yourself, our decks have mad pop and are unbelievably strong!

For your convenience you can purchase them online. Or visit your local skateshop. If they don't carry
it, ask them to. Support your local skateshop, without them, you wouldn't have access to all the latest
goods at your filthy finger tips!
